Neil Edwards is a senior arts executive and strategist with more than 25 years of experience helping cultural organizations strengthen their operations, navigate change, and position themselves for sustainable growth. His career spans organizations of regional, national, and international scope, with particular expertise in strategic planning, organizational development, governance, team building, and responsible financial management.
Known for combining strategic thinking with a practical, results-oriented approach, Neil works collaboratively with boards and leadership teams to turn ambitious ideas into achievable plans. His experience includes leading organizational transformation, strengthening governance and operational structures, building effective teams, improving financial performance, and developing strategies that enable organizations to pursue their missions with greater clarity and confidence.
Neil currently serves as Senior Strategist with the Azrieli Music, Arts & Culture Centre. His previous executive appointments include Executive Director of Debut Atlantic, CEO of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, and President & CEO of the Honens International Piano Competition.
