Music Gallery At Home: Concerts and Interviews

From Media Release: “In collaboration with the Canadian Music Centre, we launch a new initiative collectively known as “Music Gallery At Home”.

#MGAH consists of Interviews and Performances from the Music Gallery’s universe of artists, thinkers and creatives.

Interviews are in the vein of our ongoing History Series, in which we highlight creative individuals and musical history in Toronto. Online, these will consist of veterans and elders in our community being interviewed in a live stream. These will take place over four consecutive Mondays at 7PM launching April 13.

… Performances are built around a commission of “Even a Blind Squirrel Finds a Nut Once in a While”, an instructional piece by Xuan Ye… Each artist will perform their version of the “score” then present a selection of other works to create a livestream lasting approximately 30 minutes. Broadcasts will take place Fridays at 7PM, launching April 17.”
