Launch of new classical music streaming service: IDAGIO Live

By Sönke: “Today, we are launching a real-time video talk series for free to connect artists and audiences directly from home… In the coming weeks, more musicians and ensembles will participate in IDAGIO Live, including members of the Vienna Philharmonic, Franz Welser-Möst, Iván Fischer and more. All of these artists and their full catalogue of music can also be found on IDAGIO. By streaming any of their tracks on IDAGIO, it helps to support these artists and ensure that they are adequately rewarded for their music through IDAGIO’s Fair Artist Payout model system.

With the release of IDAGIO Live, listeners will be able to:

  1. Get in touch with a variety of prominent artists for exclusive, live behind-the-scenes video discussions.

  2. Learn more about the musicians, ensembles and their music, deepening their understanding of classical music.

  3. Share the experience with thousands of members of the classical music community around the world, by creating new kinds of events in a time of closed concert halls and opera houses.”
